How are you enjoying the "Very Intuitive" editor? We use a series of script "wrappers" over the common SCCS commands, and that takes some of the pain out of using that beast. It would be pretty easy to menuize the commands you need that way. There's a quick but neat menu example in "sed & awk" Dale Dougherty O'Reilly & Associates, Inc. which we use, it would be a good place to start. The bigger problem is how to use a makefile. You could use some menu options there, but some poor slob will still have to figure it out once. Good luck there. We have some "framers" trying to trade up too, and they are experiencing a pretty severe culture shock. They need it, though, that "Big Blue", suit and tie, locked in, control-freak, batch-mode, menu-only, get real attitude had it coming for a long time.
