Use DIALOG FILL FG or DIALOG FILL FG - it's documented and note that RGB(192,192,192) generates the ubiquitous Windows grey on most video resolutions. Option two is undocumented and clumsy - put an object on your canvas colour it as you please then resize it cover the whole view of the canvas then send it to the background. Of course this creates all kinds of side effects, one handy effect is to be able to trap mouse actions more closely, one generally nasty effect is that whatever canvas you're using during development becomes less cooperative and resizing becomes a pain. Option three applies for the portfolio and sheet - select the visible cell range and use the fill tool or execute a fill command. Note that if you're using a portfolio, you will have to expose the cells using the window properties. This is quite flexible and fairly attractive. NB. By 'canvas' I mean any of the dialog, sheet, portfolio, palette options in the builders. >Hello >The demonstrations supplied with Hyperscript have some very attractive >backgrounds.
