Hello Informix experts:
I've done "onmode -F" many many times before at different organizations with
different OS(es) and have never had any issues -- I will need to do this this
evening on Linux for IDS version 11.70.FC8 on a production database instance
-- is there anything I should be worried about? Will "onmode -F" ever crash
the engine?
Thank you in advance for any input.Kern --

I'm aware of at least one APAR which affects 11.70.FC8.
IC98869 (APAR # is for 12.10, but problem affects 11.70.FC8 as well)
ONMODE -F (FREE UNUSED MEMORY SEGMENTS) CAN CRASH SERVER IN RSFREEBLK()
