Can anyone help please? One of our users is getting the above error. If I cut and paste her SQL it runs without problem so I am assuming it is her set up that is the problem. DBTEMP is not defined therefore I expect the temporary file to be created in /tmp. /tmp has wrx for everybody. Am I missing something? INFORMIX-OnLine Version 7.13.UC7 HP-UX B.10.20 Thanks in advance. Phil Allen, HBO & Company e-mail phil.allen@uk.hboc.com <mailto:phil.allen@uk.hboc.com>

Also note that IDS 7.xx does not use DBTEMP for tempspace identification. DBSPACETEMP is used to identify dbspaces to use for temp space and PSORT_DBTEMP for filesystems to use for sort-work files.
