ESQL/C Help Please!!!

Hi everyone, I'm porting an application from On-Line dynamic server to Informix-SE. I've migrated the database and the GUI, now I'm trying to recompile the stored procedures. They were previously compiled for Unix, now I'm trying to rebuild them under NT. However I keep getting linker errors such as "Unresolved external symbol _iqconnect" Does anyone know how I could get round this - it seems as if the libraries are missing from the NT version, or have libraries such as date been replaced with other things? I would be grateful for any help you could offer. Thanks in advance, Wicksey

You could get that error if you were trying to port the generated C code from one platform to a different incompatible version of ESQL/C. You must port the ESQL/C code, and compile it with the NT version of ESQL/C. > Does anyone know how I could get round this - it seems as if the > libraries are missing from the NT version, or have libraries such > as date been replaced with other things? Also, if the SE is running on NT, which version is it? If it is older than 6.00, then the CONNECT operation is not supported by any version of ESQL/C. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
