Lots of Microsoft Win/32 products ship with ODBC drivers for various DB's. SQL/Server is a given when you are buying Microsoft products, but Oracle drivers are included too. Where is the Informix driver? Here is a plan: Make I-Net stand alone, make it incredibly easy to install, bundle an Informix ODBC driver with every product in the world that uses ODBC connections, (ER tools, Query Tools, Compilers, Spreadsheets), make the driver downloadable from your web page! Stick it on the outside of AOL free trial disks, (those things are like cock roaches). And tune the driver so that applications can really take advantage of the things Informix does best. I love your database engines, but please make it easier to get at them from something other than a Unix command line prompt. Thanks for listening (I am sure your competitors are). ..........................................................................
