As the name suggests, Tapedev is primarily designed for tape devices. It is
possible to use a filesystem instead, and there are some tricks you can use
with pipes, but I do not know any way to change the device in the middle of
the
backup.
One thing you could try is point a symbolic link to /a, and when it asks for
a
a new tape change it to point to /b. Tou will of course have to test this,
and
more importantly test the restore.
I am a bit tied up at the moment, but might try this myself tomorrow,
