HPL on IDS7.31

Hi, We have an old version of Informix (7.31) running on our environment. I am trying to unload few huge tables and want to use HPL. But the problem here is that, ipload doesn't run at all. After running for ages, it returns with no response. Is there any other way to create jobs in IDS7.31? If yes, could you please share the syntax for creating jobs, query, maps.
