onarchive error
Hello everybody!
I gotta problem.
I get an error while start onarchive.

An error messages is displayed:
ARC-F-01217, Error message received from cataloger - see cataloger output.
ARC-E-01291, Cannot add the request in the catalog.

Although it is a dubious distinction, I can say in all
modesty that I am an onarchive expert (big deal!). I have
helped Informix technicians with problems that they can't
figure out. Onarchive is a Rube Goldberg tool. You have to
learn how to think like it in order to be successful.
Anyway ...
There is a sql file called arc_purge.sql in INFORMIXDIR/etc
which is supposed to fix these logical inconsistencies in
your onarchive catalog (arc_* tables in sysmaster). So you
can run:
"cat $INFORMIXDIR/etc/arc_purge.sql | dbaccess sysmaster"
Pay close attention to the output. If you see any "x rows
deleted" messages then it did clean up >=1 inconsistencies.
