Re: Data Propagation or Synchronization

NFORMIX-Enterprise Gateway for EDA/SQL is able to do this with two way (read/write) access to ADABAS on MVS. You will with other words not need a copy of the ADABAS data in your Informix database, but can read (and write) the data directly. I haven't ever used the product, so I don't know how well it works. Check out http://www.informix.com/informix/products/techbrfs/gatewy/gatway.htm for further information. If this is not the right product (if all you want is to copy data) may be companies like Prism Solutions (http://www.prismsolutions.com/), Praxis International (http://www.praxisint.com/) have something you can use. There are several other companies, particularly in the datawarehousing bussiness, that have products that might be usefull. This may be a place to start checking that out: http://www.dw-institute.com forrey@wsu.edu (Dale Forrey) wrote: : Since my shop is new to Informix we are going to be going through a :transition period for some time.
