I strongly discourage anyone from putting 'user' objects (i.e. databases, tables, indexes etc.) in the rootdbs. The rootdbs is a 'critical' dbspace wrt to recovery. Also the logical and/or physical logs are often located there (if you haven't moved them). So, best avoid it for user stuff.
