Hi Milton.
In my experience, I stoped snmpdx.(snmpdx is started from
/etc/rc3.d/S76snmpdx)
Then I downloaded http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/ .
It worked fine for me in IDS 9.21 2 years ago.
