Hi Philippe. Try the following but I do not test in Sol 64 and 4GL FCx. setenv INFORMIXC /usr/local/bin/gcc -m64setenv C4GLFLAGS -fwritable-strings If I remember the currectly, gcc 2.95 does not have -m64 option , so upgrade gcc to 3.3. ftp://sunsite.tus.ac.jp/pub/sun-info/Solaris/sparc/8/gcc-3.3.2-sol8-sparc-local.gz Regards. -- Tsutomu Ogiwara from Tokyo Japan.
