Jonathan, Thanks for the sugestion, commenting out the $STUBOBJ line in c4gl for our version 4.13.UD1 of INFORMIX-4GL worked. Creating a bogus fgl_fatal() function also worked, but I didn't know if that would be circumventing any necessary processing.
