I understand there are several onstat options,
onstat -C prof/hot/part/clean/range/all
But are there any whitepapers, or any kind of documentation that tells
you what
all this information means, what is good what is bad, and how to tune
the
darn things (I know the onconfig entry, but again, guidelines) ?
I have looked through the manuals....unless I missed something.
IF nothing exists....would there be any interest in this as a Chat with
the Labs or something?
Not that I have the power to make that happen, but maybe one of you
IBM-ers can :)

I sent an email to Linda Spina and suggested a Deep Dive with the Btree
Scanner.
John Miller III has a presentation from the 2004 conference that does
highlight some tuning.
