They replied promptly (over a weekend, to boot!) and they largely agreed with my observations (which always endears people to me! :0) They weren't defensive, they were clear, coherent and rational. They said things I wanted to hear, but wasn't expecting to hear. They also were of a common mind. I got the distinct impression I was dealing with actual, pragmatic businessmen. I think it signals a strong decrease in NIHS and SVS and Informix being run as a real business. I could be wrong (no, really, I could!!) but I've decided to back off for a month or two and see what happens. It's difficult to undo 10 years (or more) of CRIS in a short time, but I think things will start to change fairly soon. It's just an opinion.
