stopping a server dynamically

Hi to all, I have the ids server with two names (a servername and an alias). Each one.is. reachable via a different network. I want to know if there is a way to stop the the alias dynamically without stopping the whole server . I use informix 11.50 ultimate edition on aix 5.3 Thanks in advance

I tried theses options but it doesn't work onmode -P stop "server name"EXECUTE FUNCTION task("stop listen" ,"server name") i have this error message in output : Could not stop listen thread for server ol_sga_test1150_odbc
