Re: duplicating a database

1. Use dbexport to export the Database.
2. This will create a <dbname>.exp Directory.
3. Rename it to <newdbname>.exp.
4. Cd to that directory and do the same with the <dbname>.sql file
5. Use dbimport to import the Database.
See dbexport -- And dbimport -- for the command options.
If your Database is over 2 GIG then repost, you'll need different
commands.

Although this would duplicate the content, queries (etc) against the
'new' database would not exhibit the same time response owing to disk
layout, index filling, statistics, etc, differences.
