What > is the problem? Temorary dbspace(s) are used for sort operations. These are essential for index creation. The total size should be larger than the biggest index to be created. If you use onarchive it *must* be bigger than the whole logical log. Ideally you spread several equally sized temporary dbspaces over independant disks. Keep them apart from root, logical and physical logspace. Don't miss telling the server about them via DBSPACETEMP (onconfig and/or environment, see Informix documentation). If you have several temp dbspaces They will be used in a "fragmentation round robin" manner to improve perfor- mance. > 2:How can I delete a row lock mannually?
