If you are still interested in knowing how to call stored procedures in informix, I have done it. I use VB and ADO 2.x through ODBC to connect to Informix Dynamic server 7.31. The only way that I found to use stored procedures is to create a recordset and open it using a SQL command that executes the sp. Here's some sample code: Set adoRecSP = New ADODB.Recordset strSQL = "execute procedure sp_dosomething(" & strSomeParameter & ")" 'execute the statement adoRecSP.Open strSQL, adoConn, adOpenStatic, adLockOptimistic, adCmdText lngSomeReturnValue = adoRecSP.fields(0).value strSomeOtherReturnValue = adoRecSP.fields(1).value adoRecSP.Close set adoRecSP = nothing I have had problems with Informix's and Merant's OLEDB drivers, and was unable to use ADO's command object successfully with an Informix database.
