Very curious... indeed... So if you agree it is iiug's IDS 9.4UC1E1 then: .zip = 64,609,640 bytes .cpio = 189,731,840 bytes IOTW: 196,751,360 it's a bad size... that might be causing the cpio problems... conclusion?: A bad download?? but you mention you donwloaded 3 times... - Maybe you cpio has a bug... i don't know... why don't you upgrade to the last cpio. - Don't you have a friend who has a working cpio? I could burn you a copy but as I guess you live in France and I live in Colombia!! Anyway... good luck. Chucho!
