Interesting thoughts - being outside of the BoD of the IIUG for the last several years I wonder if they have the bandwidth or other resources to conduct such a survey at this time. Since this should be a IBM Marketing function (aka - what are our customer's asking us for?) perhaps they could provide the necessary resources, personnel, etc and just have the IIUG in an email blast or newsletter point to the appropriate maze in the IBM website to collect the information. Madison - care to comment? Rob Vorbroker --- malcolm weallans <malcolm.iiug@btopenworld.com> wrote: > Much has been requested. Much more must already be > available from > previous wish lists. There are advantages to that. However, having a thread like this is much like an electronic brainstorming session. ;-) We already get a lot of input from marketing, IIUG, VARs and partners. However, the newsgroup is a bit more of a democratic forum and allows the customers in general to voice their requests. I suspect that with an IIUG questioneer, we would tend to get a smaller subset of items because generally most folks have the same key items that they want.
