SAP + informix on HP MC/SG = Sleepless nights. Was working with my SAP consultant & HP guys on the installation. Took 3 months + to complete. One thing got to watch out for is the naming convention of EVERY thing on both the primary & failover server had to be handled with extreme care, else your database may get corrupted, like mine did TWICE! If possible, hope that this would be the only MCSG installation that I ever have to witness..8-) Another advice would be to work out all details that you can get on the failover scenario as my initial setup did not cater for the fact that I need to access the shared filesystem when the application (Informix) is down...Took quite a while to work that into the running MCSG configuration. rgds Steven
