long transaction job then aborted with the following error number 458

Dear IIUG I have a problem and it seems to me the same that I have before when I want load a table with 350000 records but now what I have is a job try to access three tables and write the result in the forth table. The job cannot be continued after ten minutes I got the following long transaction aborted with the following error number 458. How can I manage this problem? If you are using a reasonably recent Informix Dynamic Server, by far the best method is as follows: CREATE RAW TABLE new_table ... INSERT INTO new_table SELECT * FROM old_table ... ALTER TABLE new_table TYPE (STANDARD) Raw tables are not logged, so you won't get a long transaction.
