Hi, Can i install 32 bit Informix client SDK 3.70TC1 on Windows 7 64 bit? I have desktop application with using VB 6.0 & Informix 11.70. I install the 64 bit informix & create the DSN. It test successfully but when i run my application it gives an error "error -2147467259 (MS(ODBC driver manager))The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the driver & application". Thanks.

Sorry, but.... What 64 bits CSDK have you installed? 3.70.FC1 ? If so, I´d suggest you to check your Release Information links (one of them): http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/idshelp/v117/topic/com.ibm.relnotes.doc /notes/csdk_370xc1/infodbcrel.html There are some specific configurations needed for 64 bits applications. I saw you telling about ODBC, but I´d suggest you to use OLEDB, through IBM Data Server Driver for Informix. It´s fully compatible to Visual Studio, including the Entity Framework feature, aplying the patch (on your client machine), and it uses the drda protocol, which is faster, and ready to go for your framework. Hope it helps. Regards. (You could bypass the DM, but the software must be 32-bit to use your 32-bit driver.) The chances are strong that the native DM for 64-bit Windows is itself 64-bit, and therefore you will be unable to use it with the 32-bit driver. If you have 32bit VB app AND the 32bit ODBC driver on Win 7 64 bit the app will run and connect. But you need to ensure the app picks up the correct drivers.
