New ODBC driver requires complete SDK?

Hi, can I download single 'packages' from the Client SDK or do I have everytime to download the complete xxMB file just to get the news ODBC driver? And *do* I really have to uninstall my previous version of the SDK (and probably loose my current settings) to install the new one (I don't really trust this install/uninstall thingies especially under windows)?
