No ODBC or FoxPro, sorry. I haven't encountered much difficulties. 1) On SCO : - When installing Online 7, you'll have to change some kernel parameters manually. Informix needs some changes in parameters SCO OpenServer 5's admin tools doesn't even show you ! - Fractions in datetime fields don't work as expected. Even if you set USEOSTIME, you only get 2 fractions if you want 5. This is a known Informix bug (on every Unix platform !), only most Unix versions still give you 3 fractions. - KAIO is not available on SCO. I don't know why, because SCO supports it ! - Look out when partitioning and dividing your harddisks. SCO uses partitions (max 4 per disk) which are divided into division (max 7 per partition). If you want one Unix device per Informix chunk (easiest to handle) you'll have to do some planning. 2) Windows 95 : - I-Net for Windows 95 isn't available yet. You can use I-Net for Windows NT but this is not supported by Informix or you'll have to use a generic ODBC driver like OpenLink. - If you don't name your indexes and constraints, Informix generates a name for you. Ver nice, but the first letter of the name is a space. Some ODBC drivers or programs (e.g. MS Access 2.0) can't cope with this. Hope this helps. Koen
