(and no I'm not still using my Timex/Sinclair 1000) I still dream of the vapor hardware that promises to run Dos, OS/2, Windows, Mac and Unix. The PowerPC of the near future promises something like that. Then we could buy the apps that we like best. I could still run Cakewalk Pro for Windows (the only time I'll willingly go into Windows outside of work), all my Mac software, those cool Dos games that are sitting on an archive tape right now, and do the Unix work I take home from work so I don't have to stay late like tonight.
