It seems that some smart guy in development noticed that oncheck was not checking the log file records like it was spec'd out to, so he/she fixed it in 7.24. Well if you have 72 log files at 100MB each, as I do, it can take over an hour and a half to complete the logfile checks and get on with printing out the rest of the reserved pages when running a simple oncheck -pr! This was UNFIXED in 7.30 and a new option to check log records was added. You know if you are getting this if after 15->20 minutes one or two log file reports printout and then the oncheck seems to hang again. Art S. Kagel
