Re: Can't install IDS 7.3 on NT

Hi Phuoc Ho, same problem at our site. BTW, we encounter this problem on different servers (on some the installation works fine). We don't know the difference. I think I can remember not to call the install.exe in the root-dir, but change to the specific sub-directory (IDS ???) and run the setup from there. On different servers we've found some other installation problem: after filling serial-no and key, etc., the installation-routine begins copying files. After a few seconds, we get an error like "Please Report File 'INSTALL\\MISCCM.C', Line '469' To Microsoft Product Support services". Microsoft says: "Call Informix - it's their installation routine.". Informix says: "Call Microsoft - we're only using functions n Micro$oft Install Wizard and can't reproduze your problem."
