RE: Keep It Clean

I do not know enough about NT to feel my opinion is very authoritive, but I always enjoy expressing my opinion any way. Remote administration on a Windows NT box can be a bit more complex. I do not know of a way for 3 people to be looking at their particular responsibilities on a box at once.(Application programmer, DBA, administrator). If it is possible I would be interested to hear how it is done. Either way, from what I have seen, UNIX seems to be more of a multi-user system by design where NT seems to be a single user system which can share alot of its resources. Not being familiar with the performance monitoring suite which comes with NT I do not know how effective it is. Expertise. How much expertise is out there in the world running critical servers on NT. I bet there isn't anyone with 10 years of experience doing it :). This will change over time, and maybe NT will become the platform of choice for mid-tier servers. Of course that might cause me to decide massage therapy is a much more enjoyable career to pursue.
