Re: More bang for the buck? Linux Vs Windows?

The target OS version would be Windows Sever 2003. I don't have a large amount of experience on Windows from an IDS perspective but I do understand the difficult administraion perspective. On that note Unix was difficult for me at first but once I learned my way around it turned out to be okay. I would assume Windows would be the same, once you got used to DBA'ing on it, it would turn out to be okay. It's all in what you know. --- Jack Parker <vze2qjg5@verizon.net> wrote: > > It's difficult to administer anything under Windoze > - you can't get to > anything easily and it changes so drastically from > version to version.
