What is the actual problem that you >think update stats will fix? Yes, the table has indexes. And the developer noticed that her program gets slower as the table grows. Logically queries on a table with 10 record will be faster than queries on the same table with 1 000 000 records, but she monitors the program, and says that it drastically slows down, and which is why I was thinking of update stats. sending to informix-list
