Poster asked where to obtain the sqlexecd binary and its library, since their IDS 2000 v9.21 on Solaris 8 install didn't include it. Several respondents replied that sqlexecd is specific to Informix SE (Standard Engine), not IDS, and is therefore not needed and not shipped with IDS — one noting it isn't present on their IDS server either. No further action or alternative was required.

My IDS2000 v9.21 on Solaris 8 comes without sqlexecd binary code.
Well, it comes as a subsystem. Does someone know where I can get
sqlexecd code and its library.
Thanks,

As far as I remember, sqlexecd is a part of SE and not IDS.
It is certainly not present on my IDS server.
