Has anyone had, >worked around this problem? ACE formats output using spaces between columns. This works great on terminals and printers using fixed width characters, but is probably breaking in Word because you're using a font where every letter is a different size. option 1: use a fixed space font like courier. option 2: you can try putting a tab character (ASCII 9) between columns instead of column specifiers. This will only work if fields don't vary too much in width. If they do, you'll have to do some cleanup in Word before sending it out. Hope this helps Mark Rafn dagon@halcyon.com
