Re: Error 581 -- Need HELP

Frank, It's been my experience that the 581 message is produced when the Informix products where installed in the wrong order. You can verify this by checking the $INFORMIXDIR/etc/.snfile This file is readable only by root and has the serial numbers of the Informix products loaded, in the order in which they were loaded.
