Hi all, IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.70.UC7W3, SLES 11 Any comments on the following warning in log? It appeared two times within a month. 18:10:20 Warning: Stat on trusted host file (/etc/hosts.equiv) is unresponsive(1389719413). The files looks like: l /etc/hosts.equiv -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 188 Feb 21 2009 /etc/hosts.equiv Thanks, Heinz -- WESTFLEISCH eG * Hauptsitz: Brockhoffstr. 11, 48143 Münster Amtsgericht Münster: Gen.-Reg. 307 Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender: Josef Lehmenkühler Vorstand: Dirk Niederstucke (Vorsitzender); Peter Piekenbrock; Gerhard Meierzuherde; Dr. Helfried Giesen, Geschäftsführer (Sprecher); Carsten Schruck, Geschäftsführer Hinweise: Es können nur Mails bis 30 MB empfangen werden. Hi, If stat is taking more than 5 secs, then we assume that the call to = do 'stat' is hanging. We print a message to warn you and continue using the in-memory cache.= It looks to me a minor issue but please report it to IBM support. You could do also a touch on the file /etc/hosts.equiv to see if an overflow happened...
