how to connect to remote DB server with esql/c?

Hi there.. I am programming with esql/c , intending to insert into informix DB at same time. In case DB server is on remote network, How do I connect to the remote server with esql/c ? Please show me in detail about that.. Best regards. From Kwang-Tae
