how - replication

We have HP Integrity rx4640, HP-UX B.11.23 operating system running IDS 9.4 We want to establish replication server using IDS 9.4 Our data size right now is 50GB and data growth is 50MB per day Would you all help me give explanation for our replication? What is requirement and how mechanisme for replication that replicate data growth only Best Regards, w.h.y.

There are two type of replication in Informix. a) Enterprise Replication b) High Availability Data Replication. It depends what sort of requirement you have. So far as 50 MB or 100 MB data growth/replication is concern, both will handle but require some initail good planning. IBM website has got a very good presantation on replication. It will give you a good starting point. Try to find it, if can't find, let us know. Cheers.
