NewEra AFCL ressources consumption

I have developped a large application using NewEra 2.12 that is now ported to NewEra 3.0 and I'm using the AFCL. I noticed two serious problems concerning the usage of the GDI ressources by Informix: 1) Each window takes a lot of ressources. About .5% for each picture buttons. (there a lot of them if using AFCL). This lead to take at least 10% per window. 2) When closing the window, the ressources are not released. I reproduced the first problem using ixPictureButton in a ixWindow. The second one is only happenning when using the AFCL. I have managed to patch the AFCL so it release some ressources but not much. And yes, I have reported the problem to Informix tech support. Problem #2 suppose to be fixed in version 3.1 (hopefully). They do not consider #1 as a problem! Does anybody encountered the same situation? I would think that everybody using the AFCL are getting the same results.
