Re: Logic Works ERwin

Great product. I assume you've been to www.logicworks.com ? I've used the product for ~4 - 5 years, and have seen it evolve from a good graphical modeling tool, with limited control over the physical database, to being my primary method for implementing changes to all my databases. It excels in data modeling and database creation and maintenance; it is weak if you are looking for a full life-cycle modeling tool (process analysis, etc). However, they have an add-on product (BPwin) for process modeling, and they interface with Rational's Rose and other products. Summary: Buy it. -- Sky +------( southwel@smtpgw.maricopa.gov )------+- Maricopa County -+ | Schuyler L. Southwell | Attorney's Office | | Data Management Consultant | 301 W.
