Fail consistency Check from down under
Our site in Melbourne Australia would greatly appreciate help from an
INFORMIX guru
who can read page dumps in the online log file.
After a while, it seems these consistency check failures lead to a table
in our database
that can't be accessed, dropped, etc. We end up having to regen the
entire DB.
We have:
Online 5.01 running on Solaris 2.1
Heavy use of stored procedures
A moderate level of deadlocking
Logical Logs temporarily going to /dev/null until we go live.
