Well, if the engine is crashing or the C function is causing a problem, I'd
look in the file you specified for MSGPATH in your $ONCONFIG. If
there is an assert failure it should specifiy some af.<something> file to
look in. This file should contain a stack trace. That would be of the most
use. Perhaps you can include that in a post (not the whole af file, but the
stack trace of the thread that caused the crash). You should be able to
search the file for onstat -g stk light and I believe that will be the stack
of the thread that caused the crash. At this point it could be an informix
problem, or it also could be a problem with how the C function you are
trying to execute is written.
