Executing stored procedures

I would like to know how to execute an Informix Stored Procedure from a VisualBasic 6.0 program. I have tried to do it with ADO and RDO libraries. The code used with ADO is : q.CommandType = adCmdStoredProc q.CommandText = "Procedure_name" For Each p In q.Parameters.Count q.Parameters(i) = "Par'meter_i" Next p q.Execute Thank you for your help. * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free!
I don't know ADO from RDO or VB, but neither, it would appear,
does anyone else!
In ESQL/C, you have to use EXECUTE PROCEDURE ProcedureName(args)
to execute a procedure. And if the procedure returns data, you
have to declare a cursor for the statement, and treat it like a
SELECT statement.
