Run "update statistics" on all involved databases.
"update statistics" will generate new query plans for stored procedures
for newer version. This is not always required but is required
if query plan structure stored in disk is changed from previous
release. This is documented in release notes for newer versions.

Dear Informix Gurus,
hopefully not everybody is away at the IWUC, so someone will hear my cry
for help!
I just upgraded from Online/Star 5.01 to 5.03, and now I suddenly encounter
the above error in a 4GL program which had been running without a glitch
for years!
The database is running on a Siemens-Nixdorf RM400-10 under SINIX 5.42,
and the 4GL program is running on a Siemens-Nixdorf RM400-330 under SINIX
5.42. 4GL Version is 4.10, and INet version on the client is 5.03.
The error occurs after the following piece of code:
BEGIN WORK
DELETE FROM vertrag
WHERE stellennr = aend.stellennr
AND v_begin = aend.v_begin
AND persnr = pnr
following is a long INPUT statement, after which an INSERT follows.
Depending on the result of the INSERT, the transaction is committed
or rolled back. I didn't write the program myself, but I can see nothing
wrong with it.
Finderr isn't very helpful. It just suggests to contact technical support.
Please help me!
Regards, Richard
