RE: 25507 You specified an unknown service name or protocol.

In NT the sqlhosts file is configured using I-Connect. If
a client running on NT wants to connect to the DB server
on Sun the service that you should specify is "onsoctcp"
not "ontlitcp".

Ok. I understand what you arguee about incomplete description of a casus.
But if you could give me one answer. How can I connect NT Client with
socekts to informix db on SUN woking on with tli? I did and it doesn't work.
