No, I have to agree with the Clown on this one. A single source for all Informix questions is easier to advertise. I can't stand FAQs that point to FAQs that point to.... Of course the indexing method makes or breaks a manual/FAQ. But if this was loaded up and searchable as some have suggested, then it might solve many problems. The last thing people have time for when starting with new technology is searching for tech help. If this is easy, it sells the product. If this is hard work, it just puts people off the product. But my FAQ is getting a bit large and there is currently an Informix on Linux FAQ! One layer is ok since DBD:Informix is a programming language it would be a bit large to add to the main FAQ plus it's easier to have each maintainer handle there own area. (Just as the main FAQ points to sites for ODBC). I'd be happy to put it all into the main tar file for the FAQ.
