Table level restore using archecker

Hi folks! IDS 11.10 FC2 HP-UX 11.11i I need to restore a table using archecker + ontape from a 2008 backup, but I have a doubt: How can I get the schema of my source table from my backup file? Is it possible? Which binary (archecker... or else)??? Any tips are welcome. Thanks in advance, Alberto Pessonio.

You may be able to use archecker to extract the systables and syscolumns records to holding tables (say temp_systables & temp_syscolumns) and manually recreate the schema from those entries. I don't know of anything that will automate that, however, you might look into the IIUG Repository where you may find some schema scripts that you could modify to process the restored catalog tables instead of the real ones.
