IPTC

Hi Does anyone know if Informix (the image datablade?) supports IPTC parsing from images ? The final goal is to read the metadata from incoming Photoshopfiles. PHP should be able to read IPTC, but I can't get that to work. Any other solution would be fine, but ... it seems so very informix to support something like this :-) Is it likely to appear in the near future ? Anyone else working with image-metadata ? ================================ http://www.iptc.org/ : The IPTC7901R5 is the "original" text message format developed for the teletype environment. It is still in use by many news agencies. The Information Interchange Model (IIM) is a format for a news object container file. It includes the full specification for editorial metadata. A sub-set of this metadata has been included by Adobe in the PhotoShop product. ===============================
