Hi all, I have an application which creates multiple threads and tries to connect to a database . The command to compile the application is -> > esql -e -g -thread <filename> When I use the -thread option the message displayed is -- esql: When using -thread, the THREADLIB environment variable must be set to a supported thread library. Currently supporting: DCE, POSIX(Solaris 2.5 and higher only) and SOL (Solaris Kernel Threads). What should the THREADLIB environment variable be set to ??? Is it the library path or the library name ??? Thanks in Advance .. Babulnath

Take a look at the release notes to find out which one it is. ~informix/release/en_us/0333/ESQL*. -- # unrm / ksh: unrm: not found # man cpio Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
